Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Lecture held at MCHSS
An invited talk on Entrepreneurship and Skill Development was conducted for the students on September 1 at Mount Carmel Higher Secondary School, Kohima. Dr. Dhrubajyoti Bordoloi, an Assistant Professor from the Department of Management, Nagaland University, Kohima Campus delivered an insightful talk on the Viksit Bharat 2047- Vision and encouraged the young generation to garner the mindset of a risk taker and a problem solver. Dr. Bordoloi highlighted the importance of having an entrepreneur mindset, discussed the various government schemes and initiatives to build a strong ecosystem for innovation and startups for sustainable economic growth. Dr. Bordoloi stressed on the importance of acquiring skills in various fields for students as prescribed by the NEP 2020 to reshape the learning outcome. He described how change is necessary in the educational system so that every student acquire skills and bring practical change and innovation in the society, which will eventually contribute in the process of achieving the vision of a developed nation by the year 2047.
